This fund was created in 1998 by University of Florida alumni Albert O’Neill, Jr. and Vanda O’Neill to support teaching, programs, and research in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Al graduated from UF in 1961 with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and went on to earn his law degree from Harvard University in 1965. Also a UF graduate, Vanda earned her bachelor’s degree in education in 1963 and a master’s degree in library science from Illinois in 1964.
