Family, friends and former students of Edward M. “Ted” Fearney established this fund in honor of his dedication and commitment to his students. Fearney was a professor of architecture and design at the University of Florida for 35 years. A graduate of Brown University, Fearney had a lifelong love of architecture and teaching. Ted and his wife, Barbara, were days away from celebrating their 51st wedding anniversary when he passed away on May 11, 2000. One of their four children, Martha F. Pilcher, received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UF.
