I. C. Spoto Scholarship
Judge I.C. Nelson Spoto received his law degree from the University of Florida in 1928. He was appointed Hillsborough County Attorney in January 1949. In October of 1949, he was appointed Circuit Judge by Gov. Fuller Warren and served until his retirement in 1978.
Judge Spoto was a member of the state and county bar associations and was a former chief judge of the circuit court. He was past president of the Optimist Club and past president of the Cerebral Palsy Associatio
