Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal/Earl Blank Faculty Research Award
Fund Purpose
GA: Support research in DCP related to the technical/design aspects of the roofing-related sheet metal industries. Dean of DCP will select the project(s) to receive funding. Research to receive funding may be in Engineering and will be selected by the Dean of DCP in consultation w/the Dean of Engineering. Dean of DCP may wish to consult w/donor's members for input. This fund was established in 1994 by Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association, in memory of Earl R. Blank, to support research and instructional faculty in the College of Architecture.
Blank was an active member of FRSA and owned B&F Supply, Inc. of Daytona Beach, FL.
The Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association was founded in 1922 to bring together contractors as well as businesses with related interests.
