Knox Millsaps Memorial Endowment Fund
Encourage and reward excellence in performance by undergraduate and graduate students in the academic programs of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering to enhance intellectual environment for students and faculty by supporting visits from distinguished colleagues and to support term professorships and faculty fellowships.
Created in honor of Prof. Knox Millsaps, former chair of MAE and nationally recognized scholar, including founding director of the US Air Force Research Lab. The Millsaps fund is the most comprehensive endowment in MAE, provide support for Professorship, undergraduate scholarships and several undergraduate and graduate student awards. As such, the Millsaps endowment remains of major importance to the success of MAE.
