Tampa Bay Times/James P. Kerlin Fellowship

James P. Kerlin, was an AP photographer for 43 years and a principal photographer of space shots from Cape Canaveral/Cape Kennedy in the early years of that program.

Kerlin’s wife, Marjorie, and the Tampa Bay Times (formerly the St. Petersburg Times) established this endowed fund in his memory. He
died away on January 7, 1991. Marjorie died in 1999. The fund supports graduate students pursuing studies in communications law or freedom of
