Fund Purpose
GA: support merit scholarship to incoming students from FL at College of Law; based on criteria set by Adm Comm; may be renewed in 2nd & 3rd yrs; recipients will be Carlton Fields Scholars.

Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, one of Florida’s oldest and largest law firms, established this scholarship to support talented students attending the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law.

Reece Smith, Jr., a 1949 alumnus of the UF College of Law and Carlton Fields Jorden Burt Chair Emeritus. “Many of our attorneys recognize and appreciate the opportunities that the University of Florida law school has afforded them. It is with great pleasure that Carlton Fields Jorden Burt provides this scholarship and endowment fund to support the Levin College of Law and gifted students at the University.”
