The University of Florida Medical Alumni Association created this fund to provide a term professorship to promote recognized excellence in medical student education. The mission of the UF Medical Alumni Association is to advance the causes of medical education; to support the needs of the students and residents at the UF College of Medicine; to promote an interest in and increase the usefulness of the College of Medicine; to further the relationship with the physician for the advancement of medicine for the State of Florida; to foster a spirit of cordiality and good fellowship among the members of the Association; and to promote the general welfare of UF as an educational institution.
