George A. Levy earned his BS degree in advertising from UF in 1957. He was founder of George A. Levy, Inc. in 1960, one of the nation’s largest producers of trophies and awards. The business was sold and he retired in 1999. Levy is a former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hillsborough Community College. The Aparicio-Levy Adult Technical Center located in Tampa, Florida was named for him in 2006. Levy was named Tampa’s outstanding Citizen in1999 for his many years of community involvemen
