Haskel Hess Professorship in Anatomy and Cell Biology

Haskel Hess

Haskel Hess established this fund in 1991 to provide a professorship in anatomy and cell biology in the College of Medicine. Hess held a deep belief and desire to help those in genuine need, and throughout his life he offered his wisdom and assistance to others. Born in New York City in 1910, he served in the armed forces and was in the construction business. He and his wife, Enid, lived in Miami, where he passed away in 1993.
