Gerald L. Gunter Memorial Professorship Endowment

Friends and colleagues of the late Gerald Gunter, former commissioner of the Florida Public Service Commission, established this fund to provide awards to senior faculty members in the Warrington College of Business. The effort to fund the endowment was led by Florida Power & Light, Gulf Power and the Florida Power Corp. Gunter was widely respected for his work on the commission, which encourages cooperation between universities and state agencies regarding complex regulatory issues. This professorship in his name will enhance regulatory policy analysis. Gunter passed away in June 1991 at age 56.
