Lane, Trohn, Clarke, Bertrand and Williams was the first law firm to
establish a fully endowed three-year scholarship for law students at the University of Florida. Senior partners Robert L. Trohn and Robert J. Bertrand viewed the endowment as a measure to facilitate the recruitment of top-notch law students to UF and enhance the quality of legal education in Florida.
The firm later merged with Gray, Harris & Robinson, P.A., which endowed a second three-year scholarship, to form the GrayRobinson Law Firm.
