Joe B. Cordell Eminent Scholar Chair in Corporate Development and Strategy

Joe B. Cordell established this fund to benefit the Warrington College of Business. After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 1949, Cordell became president and CEO of the Jim Walter Corp. He received the UF Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1977 and was the president of the UF Board of Directors from 1978 to 1980. Cordell passed away in 1992.
