History

The Thomas M. Kirbo and Irene B. Kirbo Charitable Trust established this endowed scholarship in 2007 to provide assistance to students enrolled in the College of Nursing.

Thomas and Irene Kirbo were longtime residents of Jacksonville, FL. Thomas was active in business and real estate, and Irene was involved in civic and cultural activities.
