Andrew Ferendino
This fund was created in 1990, by the estate of Andrew Ferendino and the firm of Spillis Candela & Partners, Inc., to support programs in the School of Architecture in the College of Design Construction and Planning.
Andrew J. Ferendino earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Florida in 1933. He spent the later part of his successful architecture career as a partner with Spillis Candela & Partners, one of the oldest and largest total design, engineering and construction management firms in the Southeastern United States.
Andrew’s wife, Irma, had a daughter, Annabell Majewski, who earned a bachelor’s degree in 1967 from UF.
Ferendino passed away on August 16, 1990.
