Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Notley Scholarship Fund
E.J. Notley, who attended UF during the 1920s, expressed tremendous appreciation for the $200 scholarship that made his enrollment possible. He and his wife, Charlotte, provided this fund to extend opportunities to worthy students in Latin American studies. E.J. and Charlotte were both originally from New York state. He attended Brown University for two years and then moved to Vero Beach, Fla. After working for the U.S. Postal Service for three years, he decided that he needed to return to college and enrolled at UF. He again left college in 1929 because he could no longer afford tuition but found employment with Aetna Insurance, with which he worked for 35 year
