Randy Norris, Jr.

Randy Norris was taken in the prime of his life at age 42 by cancer. For eight years prior to his death, he served as an officer and lieutenant with UF’s University Police Department.

Norris enjoyed interacting with students. He designed innovative information programs emphasizing college student safety and worked as the first school resource officer at P.K. Yonge Laboratory School. His brother, J. Phillip Norris, created the endowed scholarship in Randy’s nam
