Danny Eggart Endowed Scholarship Fund
Support scholarship for needy student attending UF; preference to student graduating from HS in Pensacola, FL.
This award was established in memory of James Daniel “Danny” Eggart, a 1965 graduate of the College of Health and Human Performance. Eggart attended UF on a baseball scholarship and was an All-SEC pitcher in 1963 when he won 10 games and his 24 wins as a Gator are the seventh best in the program’s history. He finished his career as the all-time leader in innings pitched and wins. His wish was that this scholarship support of needy student graduating from high school in Pensacola, FL. attending the University of Florida. Danny Eggart passed away in 1989.
