Dorothy L. Daniels established this professorship in honor of H.S. and D.L. Daniels. The fund supports research and development of programs in the Department of Ophthalmology to prevent blindness and restore vision. Dorothy L. “D. L.” Daniels suffered from glaucoma. She passed away in June 1984 at age 82.
H. Stuart “H. S.” Daniels was the former chairman of the board at Georgia-Pacific. He preceded his wife in death.
