Stuart Newman

One of the most recognized names in Florida’s public relations field, Stuart G. Newman established this scholarship in 1991 for aspiring public relations professionals in the College of Journalism and Communications.

A University of Florida alumnus, Newman was president of the first Florida chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and one of the principal organizers of the Greater Miami Public Relations Association and the Greater Miami Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists/SDX. He is president of Stuart Newman Associates, a Miami public relations and marketing agency known for its dedication to professional public relations standards. Stuart was named a UF Distinguished Alumnus and an Alumnus of Distinction in the College of Journalism and Communications in 1994.
