This fund was established by Marjorie Hawkins in memory of her husband, Harold. Harold Mills Hawkins graduated from the University of Florida in 1940 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He worked for the Phillips Petroleum Co. and later taught in UF’s Department of Engineering. Marjorie Hawkins was a speech professor at UF. She graduate from Northwestern University with a degree in speec
