Claudia Ross Memorial Fellowship for Investigative Reporting
Fund Purpose
Will: One or more fellowships shall be given to graduate students in the College of Journalism & Communications, selected on the following factors in decreasing order of importance; (1) Career interest in, and potential for, investigative reporting. (2) Academic standing. (3) Other financial resources. Recipient must have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. (See memo for additional details)

The Claudia Ross Memorial Fellowship Fund was established by her mother, Adelaide E. Ross. Preference for these fellowships will go to graduate students who show an interest in and demonstrate a promise for professional work in investigative reporting. Claudia Ross, who began her reporting career on a weekly newspaper in Jensen Beach, Florida, was killed while working on an English language newspaper in Bangkok, Thailand.
