GA: support various projects of Brechner FOI Center including, but not restricted to staff and expenses, grad fellowships, and an annual Brechner Award.

This fund, established in 1981, supports the Florida Freedom of Information Clearing House, located in the College of Journalism and Communications. It was named in honor of the late Joseph Brechner, founder of WFTV-Channel 9 in Orlando. His wife, Marion Brechner, is president of Brechner Management Company, which owns television stations in Maryland and Delaware.
