Fund Purpose
Support scholarships in the College of Engineering. The University recognizes the donor's strong and abiding commitment to increasing racial and ethnic diversity in the College. The university recognizes the Donor's view that increased & improved interaction across social lines of gender, race, generation, geography & classis a key issue. Accordingly, the College agrees, in choosing recipients to consider the following: demonstrated commitment to making contributions to a pluralistic community & diverse student body; sensitivity to & understanding of racial & ethnic issues in society; commitment to better communication across social lines of gender, race, generation, geography & class; ability to overcome educational, social or family disadvantages; & academic merit & leadership potential. Uses to include defraying expenses of engineering student's participation in student organization conferences.
