James E. Swander Memorial Scholarship Fund
Dr. James Swander earned his master’s degree and doctoral degree in nuclear engineering from UF in 1966 and 1974 respectively. He married a fellow student, Dr. Karen Swander, who earned both her master’s degree in 1967 and her doctoral degree in education in 1971 from UF. This scholarship was established by family and friends upon his death on June 6, 197
