Alumni from around the country share a bumper crop of clever Gator plates.

Do you show your University of Florida pride when you’re on the road? The following alumni do through their unique Gatorized license plates.

Mark Berman (BA ’84) sports these plates on his vehicles. He is the director of operations for Taylor Morrison Homes in Austin, TX.

Tina Bird (BSPR ’93, JD ’96) of Naperville, IL, cheers for her Gators every time she hits the road. She also framed her Gator tags that she’s had throughout the years.

Rob Cothron (BA ’85), who is retired from the U.S. Air Force and lives in Biloxi, MS, says he has used this license plate message over the years.

Fred Hanby (BSBA ’72) is a retired federal agent in Cocoa, serving as CFO of Atlantis Industrial Hygiene. He says he’ll love his Gators forever.

Hank Ingles (BSPR ’67, MA ’69) used this tag for 10 years, but now has “Gator 67.” He taught for 42 years at Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA, before moving back home to Bonita Springs.

Ed (ED MS, EES ’93) and Joanne Kertis (BS ’84) used these two plates when they lived in Honolulu. Now they’ve returned home to Key West, where Ed is a boat captain and executive director of a defense contractor, and Joanne manages their charter sailing business, Aloha Sailing Key West.

Eric Larsen (BS ’84, MAMC ’93), a Los Angeles, CA, native, said his wife thinks his license plates are “cheesy and wants me to let it go,” but he said, “Sorry, honey, that’s just not gonna happen. Go Gators!” He is a strategic account manager in the media and entertainment industry.
