Maverick, Albert and Spurrier. Maverick lives in Tampa with Scott Leslie (BS ’85) and Dara Leslie (BS ’86). The pup in the middle, Albert, lives in Atlanta with Carter Leslie (BS ’18, MSBA ’19) and Sydney Leslie (BS ’18). Spurrier also lives in Atlanta with Sean Gilmore (BSBA ’15, MSBA ’16) and Lauren Leslie Gilmore (BS ’18, MA ’18).

Scooter, the red-footed tortoise, will cheer the Gators for decades to come if she lives a normal tortoise life of 90 years. Her owner, Cassidy Hudson (CALS4), said Scooter could grow to over a foot long. Hudson’s love of tortoises inspired her to major in environmental science. She brought Scooter to school with her from Tampa in 2021.

Archie is a rowdy reptile who dressed the part, thanks to Elizabeth Tobener (BA ’15), an audiologist from Melrose.

Bella loves her Gator toy. She lives with Dick Monroe (BS ’67, MA ’68) and Lorene Monroe in Windermere. Their favorite time of year is Gator football season.

Belle and Winston dress to impress. The pups live with Rebecca Hayes (BA ’98) in Ashburn, Virginia. They may be bulldogs by birth, but they’re Gators at heart.

Chea and Brody are a dynamic Aussie duo who love to tailgate. They live in Durham, North Carolina, with Jason Damiani (BS ’12) and Jessica Damiani (BSA ’10, BSN ’12).

Garfield, a 33-year-old Congo African Grey parrot, loves his toy Gators helmet. He and his owner, Ryan Mackman (BS ’03), live in Milwaukee.

Josie the Cavapoo and Jessie the Havapoo, half-sisters who share the same Poodle dad, live in Colonial Beach, Virginia, with Judi Aronson Patrick (BS ’83) and Berry Patrick (BS ’82), who met at UF in 1981.

Nugget lives with his best friend, Caro Perez Grissom (MBA ’19), in Bozeman, Montana. Nugget attended all MBA tailgates between 2017-2019 with his owner.
