The Assistant Director of Membership & Annual Giving directly manages a portfolio of marketing projects for UF Alumni Association membership and the annual giving program including, but is not limited to membership direct marketing appeals, annual giving direct marketing appeals, and special campaigns. Reporting to the Interim Director of Membership & Annual Giving Programs, this position will manage relationships with central and partner units to effectively and efficiently leverage data to drive decision making and strategy. Additionally, the Assistant Director will also support fundraising activities for special audiences, such as families, as well as other special campaigns as they arise.
 
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of relevant experience.
 
Preferred qualifications: 1-2 years of annual giving, membership, direct mail programs, or event planning. Prior experience in development or related fields. Prior experience developing and implementing special campaigns including social media and email marketing. Knowledge of annual giving within philanthropy. Ability to work collaboratively and a team player. Proven project management, time management, and organizational skills. Competency in problem solving. Outstanding customer service skills; ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with both external and internal constituents.

The Assistant Director of Annual Giving is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of an integrated direct mail solicitation strategy for the annual giving aimed at increasing the alumni participation rate as needed to reach the overall alumni participation rate goals. Reporting to the Interim Director of Annual Giving Campaigns, this position will manage and execute large central annual giving mail appeals, such as the Fall Unit Mailing, the Calendar Year-End Mailing and the Fiscal Year-End Mailing. Additionally, the incumbent will co-lead the Giving Day Direct Marketing Committee, and serve as project manager for all Giving Day direct marketing projects.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Annual Giving, the Leadership Annual Giving Officer will be focused on qualifying and soliciting leadership annual giving prospects ($1,000-$10,000). The incumbent will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors by engaging prospects through a variety of mediums (face-to-face, phone or in writing). The incumbent will also be assigned a special project in conjunction with the phonathon program that serves to facilitate leadership annual giving and pipeline development, such as visit scheduling and gift planning. Additionally, the Leadership Annual Giving Officer will periodically be tasked with special fundraising projects in particular areas, such as parents or student affairs. They will also work closely with the Office of Gift Planning to support their lead generation and prospect discovery/qualification processes.
 
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of relevant experience and/or a strong understanding of development processes and comprehensive campaigns.
 
Preferred qualifications: Minimum one year of fundraising, development, sales or related experience. Prior experience in a university or nonprofit environment. Prior experience in advertising and marketing. General knowledge and understanding of business/economic environment. Understanding of fundraising principles, methods, and standards.

The Director of Development is responsible for developing and executing the University of Florida Health Proton Therapy Institute's (UFHPTI) fundraising program to fulfill the financial needs as identified and in alignment with the strategic initiatives of the unit and UF Advancement. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President & Chief Advancement Officer (AVP/CAO), this position will serve as a strategic partner, ensuring conformity with the university and UF Advancement's development efforts and promote a culture of philanthropy by broadening constituents' understanding of the value of giving.
 
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience in Development or a related field; or a bachelor's degree in appropriate areas of specialization and five years of experience in Development or a related field.
 
Preferred qualifications: Three to five years of major gift fundraising experience with documented success in cultivating and soliciting major gifts of $100,000 and above from individual and corporate prospects with campaign experience. Prior experience in a college or university setting, enthusiasm for fundraising in a comprehensive research university and/or medical setting and the desire to work collegially within a goal-oriented fundraising organization. Prior experience managing annual fund programs. The ability to work strategically, develop and implement constituency programs and activities, along with a talent for motivating volunteers. An appreciation for and support of diversity in the workplace in all its forms; proven success working with stakeholders; excellent strategic planning and project management skills; experience in a data-driven environment; organizational skills; and the ability to lead, influence and motivate others are required. The Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at Levin College of Law reports to the Senior Director of Development & Alumni Affairs and works in conjunction with UF Law team members and colleagues at the University of Florida Foundation to support the strategic goals of the College of Law. The Assistant Director will be responsible for coordinating in-person and virtual alumni events and programming; managing stewardship processes for UF Law alumni and friends, including donors, prospects, and volunteers; and creating and implementing annual giving initiatives and other small gift solicitations such as Gator Giving Day, Law Firm Giving Challenge, etc. In 2021, U.S. News ranked Levin College of Law as the #6 public law school in the country and #21 overall. During the University of Florida's current Go Greater Campaign, the law school reached its $50M campaign goal 36 months early and doubled the goal 18 months early, surpassing $100M in resources raised to support the strategic goals of the law school.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience.
 
Preferred qualifications: Two to three years of prior legal or relevant experience with knowledge of probate, estate & trust planning, tax, real estate transactional work, contract management, regulatory compliance and corporate transactional work, or extensive experience in a closely related field. Two to three years of experience working in a legal environment. Experience working in a complex development environment serving many internal clients and external constituents. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high caliber of legal ethics when dealing with sensitive confidential information. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse constituencies, meet deadlines, be self-motivated, and work independently. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a customer service-oriented attitude.
