Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience.
 
Preferred qualifications:
  • One to three years of fundraising, development, sales, or related experience.
  • Prior experience in a university or nonprofit environment. 
  • General knowledge and understanding of business/economic environment.
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles, methods, and standards.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in prospect identification, relationship building, solicitation, and stewardship.
  • The ability to work strategically, develop and implement constituency programs and activities, along with a talent for motivating volunteers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be a team player.
  • Competency in problem-solving. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to engage effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of individuals are essential.

The Director/Senior Director of Advancement for the College of Public Health & Health Professions (PHHP) serves as the strategic leader driving all aspects of the college’s development and alumni engagement efforts. Reporting jointly to the Assistant Vice President of Advancement for the UF Health Science Center and the Dean of PHHP, this role sets the vision and direction for a comprehensive advancement program that fuels the college’s mission and growth. PHHP is in an exciting period of expansion and innovation, creating a prime opportunity for a forward-thinking advancement leader to elevate philanthropic support and strengthen connections across a vibrant network of more than 22,000 alumni. The Director/Senior Director oversees a broad and impactful portfolio that includes major and leadership giving, development communications, alumni engagement, and volunteer board management. Operating within a collaborative, matrixed structure, this position works closely with both college leadership and UF Advancement to align strategies, build momentum, and achieve shared fundraising and engagement goals. This is a high visibility role for a results-driven relationship builder who thrives in a mission-centered, growth-oriented environment.
 
Minimum Requirements: Director: Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience in Development or a related field; or a bachelor’s degree in appropriate areas of specialization and five years of experience in Development or a related field. One year of supervisory experience.

Senior Director: Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience or a bachelor’s degree in appropriate areas of specialization and eight years of experience.
 
Preferred qualifications:

 

  • At least 6-8 years of major gift fundraising experience with documented success in cultivating and soliciting major gifts of $100,000 and above from individual and corporate prospects.
  • Campaign experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a college or university setting, enthusiasm for fundraising in a comprehensive research university, and the desire to work collegially within a goal-oriented fundraising organization. 
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles, methods, and standards.
  • Experience in developing solicitation strategies.
  • Experience in development and alumni relations and/or external affairs with demonstrated accomplishment in fostering productive relationships with volunteers and developing volunteer leadership.
  • Ability to work strategically, implement and build constituency programs and activities is highly desired.
  • A strong understanding of budgeting practices and financial accountability and the ability to manage resources with prudence and efficiency.
  • Proven skills handling multiple priorities and work pressure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as effective time management and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside College of Public Health and Health Professions.

The Associate Director of Annual Giving, Outreach Programs is responsible for designing, managing, and continuously improving the university’s approach to scaled individualized donor engagement and lead generation. This role builds sustainable philanthropic revenue and strengthens the major gift pipeline by blending human-centered outreach, data-driven strategy and emerging technologies.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Lead Generation & Annual Giving Programs, the Associate Director oversees programs and teams that deliver philanthropic engagement at scale, including Donor Experience Officers (Philanthropy Specialists) and student ambassadors within RepDials. The role leads strategy for qualifying philanthropic leads, executing cadence-based multi-channel engagement, and deploying innovative tools—including AI-enabled solutions—to increase donor participation, accelerate prospect movement, and support annual giving’s role in long-term pipeline development.
 
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of appropriate experience in annual giving or related field; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience annual giving or related field.
 
Preferred qualifications:
  • At least three years of annual giving, membership, direct marketing, or digital advertising experience. 
  • Prior experience in development or related fields.
  • Prior experience developing and implementing special campaigns including social media and email marketing.
  • Knowledge of annual giving within philanthropy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and a team player.
  • Proven project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Competency in problem solving.

The CRM Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing the organization’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. Reporting to the Executive Director of Development Information Systems, this position leads the design, implementation, and long term strategy of a scalable CRM architecture that supports essential business processes, preserves data integrity, and grows with organizational needs. This role works closely with cross departmental stakeholders to ensure CRM capabilities align with strategic priorities and oversees integrations with other enterprise systems to deliver a seamless, efficient, and high performing technology environment.
 
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
 
Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Expertise in major CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot).
  • Hands-on development experience with Apex, triggers, asynchronous processing, and Lightning (LWC or Aura), with a strong understanding of governor limits and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, and middleware solutions.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, database management, and ETL processes.
  • Certifications in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with cloud-based CRM solutions and SaaS architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background in business process optimization and change management.
