UF Advancement seeks self-motivated applicants for a position that helps implement, manage and maintain Advancement?s networks, databases, servers, applications and security. The network systems analyst will participate in the implementation and management of core, enterprise, and organizational applications and services and manage and maintain Microsoft SQL servers and Oracle database servers. Reporting to the Database/Network Systems Administrator, this position will help maintain and install switches, routers and firewalls and help maintain and monitor network security. The network systems analyst also will document policies, procedures and changes to pertinent systems, applications and infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements: Associate?s degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred qualifications: Basic scripting knowledge for automating repetitive tasks. Job knowledge of forensics for determining system compromise and troubleshooting. Proficiency in one or more of the following: Oracle database administration, client/server, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Oracle diagnostics management, Oracle tuning management, Oracle change management. Advanced server and network support experience with the following: MS Windows 2008, 2012, 2016 Server, Windows Server. Virtualization, and at least a moderate familiarity with Linux. Proficiency in various routing, switching, wireless, systems software, virtualization and networking infrastructure protocols which includes but is not limited to VPN (client and infrastructure), 802.1X authentication, radius services, syslog, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, security certificates, SNMP, SMTP, SSH, VRRP, spanning tree, vlans, switch lags, vlan tagging, subnet and mask understanding, telnet protocol, various virtualization technologies and applications, DSL.

This position serves as the Gifts & Records Supervisor at UF Advancement. Reporting to the Gifts and Records Manager, this highly visible and responsible position utilizes independent judgment and critical thinking in the management of corporate matching gift claims. As an integral member of the leadership team for Gifts and Records, the supervisor will integrate all activities and initiatives with Advancement organizational goals, culture, mission, vision and values. He or she will have the ability to act at a high level both independently and collaboratively to accomplish goals and will have oversight and management responsibility for Gifts and Records Processors.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and five years of general accounts transaction experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Valid Florida driver's license by time of hire.
Preferred qualifications: Two years of experience in a professional, customer service, team-oriented environment with a history of demonstrating the UF Advancement critical competencies. Ability to use sound judgment and exercise strict confidentiality and discretion in all matters. Prior supervisory experience. Knowledge of basic accounting policies and procedures. Strong data entry, proofreading, grammar, and spelling skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work accurately and efficiently with minimum supervision
