The Salesforce Developer is a demonstrated thought leader in technical aspects of customer and partner engagements that lead to the successful delivery of Advancement solutions in a Salesforce environment, including enterprise integrations leveraging middleware tools and platforms. Reporting to the Executive Director of Data Services, this position is a key member of the CRM implementation project team and provides critical input for the overall design of CRM applications and mapping client business requirements to systems/technical requirements. Additionally, the developer will lead the evaluation of options and subsequent presentation and education of the customer/partner. They will also identify and proactively manage risk areas, and commit to seeing issues through to complete resolution.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess: Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Experience working on Salesforce platforms or other CRM software packages (Microsoft CRM, InterAction, SalesLogix, Oracle On-Demand, SAP etc.). Prior experience in a college or university setting, preferably in an advancement environment. Good understanding of declarative tools. Relevant Salesforce certifications. Ability to work collaboratively and a team player. Must have a strong customer service orientation. Must possess excellent analytical and organizational skills. Competency in problem solving and attention to detail. Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues. Must be an outstanding communicator and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills; and the ability to work collegially and interact effectively with a diverse constituency.

The Opportunity The Executive Director of Strategic Engagement will be responsible for setting a strategic vision for strengthening Advancement's relationship with external and internal audiences through comprehensive engagement, stewardship, special events, and other programs. Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President of Strategic Communications/Chief Marketing Officer (AVP/CMO), the incumbent will oversee strategic components of donor and alumni engagement throughout the lifecycle of a gift and determine the best strategies to provide an exceptional experience for donors, prospects, and alumni.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of experience in a related field; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and eight years of experience in a related field. Valid Florida driver license
Preferred qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess: Seven to ten years' experience in a comprehensive strategic engagement and/or external relations program in a large-scale university or one of similar complexity, with proven leadership success. Project Management & Business Analysis collaborates closely with Advancement teams on institution-wide strategic initiatives to develop, document and implement departmental and organizational priority projects, process improvements, and procedures.

Preferred qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess: Change Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience executing core components of change management programs for IT transformation and system integrations, including communications, training, and stakeholder engagement. 4+ years of applied change management, communications, and/or training experience in management consulting or IT industry. Project and Program Management Skills: Proven track record of delivering change management programs for complex, enterprise-wide, and transformational technology initiatives. Ability to work well under deadlines and juggle multiple priorities. Technology Fluency: Proven ability to thrive in technical environments, especially implementations of Salesforce products.
