Experience in development, alumni affairs, education, public relations, external affairs and/or higher education. Prior experience in a college or university setting, enthusiasm for fundraising in a comprehensive research university and the desire to work collegially within a goal-oriented fundraising organization. Knowledge of fundraising principles, methods, and standards. Expertise in developing solicitation strategies. Experience in development and alumni relations and/or external affairs. Corporate & Foundation Portfolio Management Build and manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects of all capacities with a focus on proposals between $10,000 and $250,000. Seek guidance from the Senior Director for proposals at or above $250,000. Project Management Actively monitor proposal progression, including, but not limited to, processing letters of agreement, tracking proposals from submission to decision, meeting post-funding reporting deadlines, and responding to funding institution requests for additional information as necessary. Act as an intermediary between UF Health faculty/physicians and funding institutions as necessary, ensuring that all appropriate stakeholders are aware of and engaged in the proposal process. Proactively communicate with funding institutions regarding deadlines, submissions, and other needs. Attend events as a representative for the University, UF Health, and/or UF Advancement. Event and Project Management Coordinate the planning of donor events including intermission receptions, meet and greets, Director?s Dinner, Season Preview, Gala and other opportunities for engagement.
