UF Advancement’s location on the northwest side of campus is a gateway to the university. Designed to be a relationship nurturer, the complex is anchored by Emerson Alumni Hall — a campus living room for visiting alumni and dignitaries and home office to a number of advancement professionals. To its immediate east, across a paved plaza, is Powell Hall, UF’s Foundation Annex and Research House. These buildings host most of the remaining central advancement team, and also has small meeting rooms. Three blocks west is the call center, with on-site offices for the Annual Giving team. In fall 2016, UF Advancement’s lone off-campus site opened in Coral Gables. That center includes offices for regional advancement staff members, admissions, UF Online and the Lastinger Center for Learning.
