Online Giving for the Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience
The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience is a research institute of the University of Florida. Its research aims to use marine model organisms to address human health and environmental problems. Additionally, the Lab's mission is to train future biologists, and to contribute to public science education and the establishment of public policy for basic research and marine science.
If you would like to make an unrestricted or general gift to the Whitney Lab, please direct your donation to the Gift Fund.
The Lab is currently developing plans for the world's first marine veterinary school: The Center for Marine Animal Health. Its research will focus on diseases and pathogens harming marine animals, both in the wild and in captivity, and will train veterinarians and technicians in the latest technologies. You can be a part of this exciting new effort by contributing to the Capital Campaign Fund.
