Online Giving for University of Florida Performing Arts
University of Florida Performing Arts presents public performing arts programs at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, University Auditorium and the Baughman Center. Your financial support makes it possible to deliver programs that you are proud to have as part of our community fabric. Artists are guides that can teach us about the world that surrounds our daily lives. Through their vision, we can reflect on diverse cultures and lifestyles that differ from our own. The superior quality of the artist and attractions that comprise the UFPA season is without compromise and stands solidly among the finest performing arts presenting programs in the world.
During the 2006-07 season artists represent 18 different countries and UFPA presented two new works that UFPA commissioned, one world premiere and three U.S. premieres. It is your philanthropic giving that makes this possible. Your gift, as whatever level you are comfortable contributing, is both valued and appreciated.
University of Florida Performing Arts also has a strong educational mission. University of Florida Performing Arts provides outreach and educational programs for both students and adults. These programs include:
- Performance Discussions – Every effort is made to provide a discussion prior to or immediately following each UFPA performance. Attendance is free and open to the public.
- Master Classes, Lectures and Open Rehearsals – When possible, UFPA arranges master classes and lectures to give students the opportunity for in-depth, personal instruction and interactions with world renowned professional artists appearing on the UFPA stages.
- School Day Performances – Throughout the season, UFPA offers a limited number of school day performances.
