Mary Ellen Burnett Scholarship in Loving Memory of George H. Burnett

History

Mary Ellen Burnett established this scholarship in 2003 as a loving memorial to her father, George H. Burnett. Mr. Burnett launched and headed a water company which sold bottled drinking water and purified or distilled water to individuals with health problems. Centering his business in Zephyrhills, he designed the industry before water softeners were common. Burnett sold the business, and it later became Zephyrhills Water Company.
