Wayne D. Bottom Physician Assistant Scholarship Fund
History
This fund was established in 2003 from several donors to support students in the physician assistant program. Wayne D. Bottom is the associate dean for physician assistant studies in the College of Medicine. He is also a faculty member and serves as an advisor for physician assistant education to the Florida State Board of Independent Colleges and Universities.
Criteria
Students in the Physician Assistant Program as determined by the financial aid officer and director of program; annual individual awards are not to exceed 10% of the fund balance.
