Charles Wagley Research Fellowship

History

Throughout his career as a graduate research professor in anthropology at UF, Dr. Charles Wagley was highly regarded by his colleagues and students in the Center for Latin American Studies. His commitment to academic excellence and integrity made a lasting and influential impression on those who had the opportunity to study with him. Wagley's wife, Cecilia, along with the Florida Anthropology Students Association (FASA) headed the fund-raising effort that led to establishment of this endowment after his death in 1991.

Criteria

Graduate students in the social sciences who have particular interest in anthropological methods of research and analysis.

Application Information
