Frank E. Bryant, Jr. Scholarship Fund

History

Mary Brigham Bryant originally provided this endowment in memory of her husband, Frank Bryant Jr., who passed away in 1983. When Mary passed away in November 2008, her children requested that her name be added to this wonderful scholarship that has provided support for many deserving students.

Frank was from Coral Gables and loved to sail. Mary grew up in Winter Haven. The Bryants met in law school and earned their juris doctor degrees at the same time from UF shortly after World War II. After graduating from law school, the couple married and lived in Sebring, where they worked together in their law firm and raised three children.
