AOS/11WOC Scholarship Fund
History
This fund was established jointly by the American Orchid Society and the Eleventh World Orchid Conference Inc.
With nearly 30,000 members worldwide, the American Orchid Society is among the largest special interest horticultural organizations in the world. The Society unites growers, breeders and fanciers -- amateur and professional -- whose interest has been captivated by one of the most complex and fascinating flowers in the world.
Criteria
Upper division or graduate students pursuing degrees in horticulture or botany who have demonstrated interest in, and who will pursue with the proceeds of the grant, studies or research in orchidology.
