H. H. Edwards Scholarship Fund

History

Harry H. Edwards was an early pioneer in the development of prestressed concrete in the United States. He was president of Leap Associates in Lakeland, Fla., for more than 30 years and was one of the founders of the Prestressed Concrete Institute. The company awarded him its highest honor, the Medal of Honor, for his dedication to the industry. Edwards was born in 1912 and passed away in 1985.

Criteria

Students in the last three terms in civil engineering, preferably studying structural concrete with strong interest in re-stressed concrete.
