Batson-Siegel Accounting Scholarship Fund

History

This endowment was contributed by Robert Batson and wife, Bette, as tribute to their mothers, Marion Batson and Ann L. Siegel.

Partner in the firm Batson, Carnahan & Co., P.A., Robert Batson said, "My wife and I hope that this scholarship will help to defray the costs of education for many students in the future and that in some small way we were able to return some benefit to the university that provided an education to us."

Criteria

Students entering the graduate accounting program--fifth-year graduate studies; based on their academic performance in accounting and overall GPA. Preference to students from southwest Florida.
