Bernard F. Masseria Scholarship/Fellowship Fund
History
Erna Masseria established this fund through her estate in 1999 in memory of her husband, Bernard Masseria. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Erna moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1982, where she devoted 30 years as a secretary for New York Bell Telephone. She passed away in October 2003 at the age of 87.
Criteria
Deserving undergraduate and graduate students.
Application Information
Recipients are selected by the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs, with priority to National Merit Scholar Finalists. To be considered, students must have a complete admission application (application, high school transcript, test scores, application fee, and essay) on file by the UF Admissions Office deadline. Specific application form is not required.
