History
David and Margaret O'Connor created this scholarship endowment to help UF students achieve their academic aspirations. David O'Connor, who had a prosperous career with Procter & Gamble, earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry in 1954 and his Ph.D. in organic chemistry in 1961 from UF.
Criteria
Students with financial need; preference to students with at least a 3.0 GPA.
