History
This memorial scholarship was established by the family and friends of William "Bill" C. Mason III, a 1979 alumnus of the Warrington College of Business Administration. While attending UF, Bill was a member of the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. After graduation, he embarked on a career in retail at Jordan Marsh as a buyer and divisional sales manager in Miami. He enjoyed traveling to Europe and throughout the United States, but there was no place as special to him as Gainesville and the University of Florida.
Gifts to this endowment were matched through UF's Prudential Business Ethics Program.
Criteria
Full-time undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need; preference toward freshmen and students who are graduates of a Marion County High School. Recipients must fulfill at least one credit hour in business ethics and show a commitment to serving the interests of their community.
