Randall J. Bodner and Gary W. Faircloth Scholarship Fund
History
Randall J. Bodner graduated from UF in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in finance. He was associate vice president of Prudential Securities and later joined Chase Manhattan Investment Services. He has served as one of the managing directors for the Coral Gables branch of Chase Manhattan. Currently, he works with Smith Barney Citigroup Consulting Group as senior vice president of investments. Bodner remains involved in the university community, having served on the New York Committee for the "It's Performance That Counts" UF capital campaign that raised over $850 million. He created this endowment with the intent to help enhance the quality of student life through improved housing.
Criteria
Students who are active members of the Inter-Residence Hall Association (IRHA); must be full-time student in good standing; must have achieved high academic success (minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA); and must be directly involved in residence hall activities and area/hall government.
Application Information
Recipients are selected by a committee (two housing administrators, three students) selected by the IRHA President.
