Jerome Bain Scholarship Fund
History
After serving in the armed forces during World War II, Jerome Bain attended UF and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1949. As a student, Bain was a member of the Fightin' Gator Band. He married Mildred Lunaas and worked as a realtor in the Miami area. He eventually became an active member of the Miami Board of Realtors. Upon his death in 1991, his estate created an endowed scholarship at UF in his name.

Deserving students attending UF.
Application Information
Recipients are selected by the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs, with priority to National Merit Scholar Finalists. To be considered, students must have a complete admission application (application, high school transcript, test scores, application fee, and essay) on file by the UF Admissions Office deadline. Specific application form is not required.
