The Hundred Club of Broward County, Inc. Scholarship Program
History
In 1988, The Hundred Club of Broward County, Inc. established this endowed scholarship to be awarded to the children of policemen and firemen of Broward County who have been disabled or killed on duty.
Chartered in 1962, The Hundred Club is an international organization dedicated to help provide benefits to spouses and dependents of firefighters and law enforcement officers who have lost their lives or suffered permanent disability in the line of duty. Chapters are organized by citizens in municipalities to serve local fire, rescue and law enforcement officials.
Criteria
Dependent spouse or child of a deceased, disabled or living Broward County law enforcement officer, firefighter or peace officer, as well as dependents of veterans who were killed in active duty, seeking a degree from the University of Florida.
