First Bankers MBA Fellowship Fund

History

M.G. "Sanch" Sanchez instituted this endowment to provide fellowships for students in finance or banking. Sanchez started his career with First Bankers Corp. of Florida in 1959. He later became president in 1979 and held this position until 1986.

Currently, Sanchez is chairman of the Executive Committee of Florida Capital Group, Inc. and Florida Capital Bank,N.A. He is also a member of the UF Business Advisory Council and is a past president of Gator Boosters Inc. and currently serves on the Board of Directors.

Criteria

In-residence MBA students.

Application Information

Students admitted in to MBA Program at the Hough Graduate School of Business at the Warrington College of Business Administration are automatically considered for this award.
