Thomas C. Chubb Merit Scholarship Fund

History

This scholarship was founded by Gerald R. and Mary Alice Wolsfelt in honor of her father, Thomas C. Chubb. Mary Alice Wolsfelt graduated from UF in 1964 with a bachelor's degree in education. Gerald Wolsfelt also attended UF in the mid-1960s and completed his bachelor's degree at Florida Atlantic University in 1967.

Criteria

National Merit Scholars from the South Georgia area.

Application Information

The Chubb Merit Scholarship endowment provides funding for the National Merit Scholarship Program at UF. Specific application form is not required. For information on the outstanding financial award package available to National Merit Scholars at UF contact:
