John H. and Mary Lou Dasburg Professorship

History

John H. and Mary Lou Dasburg established this fund in 2005 to support professorships in corporate law. John attended the University of Florida where he earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering in 1966, a master’s of business administration degree in 1970, and his juris doctorate in 1970. He is currently the Chairman, CEO, President and Co-owner of Astar Air Cargo, Inc. During his career, he has held leadership roles at KPMG, Marriott Corporation, Northwest Airlines and Burger King.

Mary Lou Dasburg is a graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans, the University of North Florida and the University of Florida School of Law. She is active in her community and has served on the board of organizations such as The Blake School, the Children’s Theatre Company and the College of St. Catherine.
