This fund honoring Robert Thompson provides a professorship in obstetrics and gynecology in the College of Medicine in Jacksonville. Robert J. Thompson is a retired University of Florida professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He and his wife, Dolores, have five children, one of whom earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from UF in 1985.
